Falcons ink third-round pick Johnson

Johnson was the team's third-round pick (98th overall) in this year's draft.

The 6-foot-6, 304-pounder started 41 straight games at the University of Alabama and set the school career-record by appearing in 54 contests.

Johnson, a member of the Crimson Tide's 2009 national championship team, started all 14 games in his senior year.

Atlanta has now signed five of its seven 2010 NFL Draft selections.
